When Heather contacted me to schedule a Mother’s Day session I was thrilled! I had not photographed her with her girlies since they were two. Now they are NINE!
The really neat thing about this session is that not only did I get to capture Heather with her girls but Heather’s Mom, Nancy too. This was actually Heather’s Mother’s Day present for her mom. How neat is that? Is was so much fun to see these girls snuggling up to both their mom AND their grandmother.
It was a beautiful sunny day here in Issaquah when I took these pictures. It’s been so sunny, in fact, that the cotton wood trees were blooming early and it literally looked like it was snowing at some points during our session. Little white balls of fluff everywhere. They thought we should make wishes. I told them I always wished for chocolate and they thought that was funny.
At the end of the session Grace came over to me with a dandelion fluff ball to make a wish. Before we made blew on it she whispered to me that she was wishing for chocolate. Holy smokes that just melted my heart!
