Poor Madeline. I could not have forgotten her name more if I tried! And the worst part was I was really trying to remember it. I swear I traded my brain in at the hospital for my third child. It’s really that bad. Every two seconds I’d say ‘Madison look over here!’ and they would all say ‘Madeline!’. I’d say ‘Madison squeeze your sister.’ and they would say ‘Madeline!’. I said it wrong so many times that I swore I was just going to call her George but I couldn’t even remember that. Lord help me!
And look at Miss Michaela (whom I called McKenzie at least onece). I think we need to call her the picture of hope. I haven’t seen this family for more than six years and in that time she battled and won her fight against leukemia. I never would have known if her Tiffany hadn’t mentioned it. Seriously, this beautiful, vibrant girl should give all folks hope that they can win their battles too. And the other amazing part about her story is that Tiffany said it brought their family closer. Grandparents moved in, family rallied, even little Miss Emily was born in the middle of it all. I sure hope that if I got such a scary diagnosis that I would be able to handle it with such grace and love.
Yup, Tiffany you are going to have a hard time picking out your pictures because we got a lot of cute ones! (Thank you for letting me take a few of the whole family too.) Here are just a few of my favorites…
