When I set up my session with Caroline in early September I had no idea what the weather would be like up in Suncadia in late fall. It has been just about a year since I’ve been spending time up there and I assumed that it would be dryer up there because it is on the other side of the Mountains. I am not sure if their October was as bad as Issaquah’s October (wettest October on record) but it was raining when I got up there.
In fact, it rained all morning until just before Caroline and Alex came and then the water works stopped. I couldn’t believe it! It went from pouring to not even a sprinkle. The kids wanted to wear their boots anyway and I am so glad they did. Know what else I’m glad about? I’m glad Caroline and Alex are so laid back that they didn’t mind their kids jumping in puddles even though we were in the middle of our photo session. That’s the perfect set up for pictures where kids can be themselves. Wouldn’t those picture above be perfect in a frame together?
Suncadia is so beautiful this time of year and it was the perfect backdrop for this fun family! Here are my favorites…
