Next up for school shopping was Kate. Before we could start our adventure, though, Kate attended a special karate class. She has been going since the beginning of the summer but this class was taught by a national instructor. Pretty cool!
Next we stopped for dinner and to plot out our stops. We had to be efficient with our time!
Kate is a super quick shopper and she didn’t need much given that she has a huge box of hand me downs. (But it’s nice to get a few new things too!) So Old Navy hooked us up for almost everything on her list.
Kate knew she wanted to shop at Justice for her treat for the evening so we snuck in there 10 minutes before closing. That was probably a good move for me because that girl could peruse all those sparkles and feathers for hours! She picked a cute little clipboard that holds pens and a notebook. That girl LOVES notebooks!
We ended our night with a quick stop for PE shoes. Seems like all my girls need them this year. Stop growing people!
Kate is most looking forward to seeing who her teacher is this year and she is most worried that she won’t have her best friend Annie in her class. (Unfortunately the chances aren’t great that she will get Annie in her class. There are seven fifth grade classes!)
Oh, and one last purchase that was just for me. Actually, it is more for my clients in the fall. I saw this umbrella and I just couldn’t pass it up!
