We had to squeeze Jill’s day out between her work schedule and her social schedule. Good thing we had two weeks in Europe and we have another week coming up. This kid is so busy we might not see her!
Jill is not a huge fan of shopping and definitely not for shopping for something she doesn’t need. Now that she has stopped growing she doesn’t need much in the way of clothes. She is perfectly happy with the striped shirts she has for every day of the week. The one thing she REALLY wanted was underwear and socks.
Seriously? We were only going for the basics? I tried to convince her to at least get the cute shirt with the camera on it. No go.
Well at least we had a yummy lunch and some good time together! Here are HER answers:
What are you most looking forward to? – Jill: I have no idea! (I normally don’t let them get away with this but I was distracted by my taco.)
What are you most worried about? – Jill: Saying goodbye to my friends.
Oh boy. That’s a tough one. She said she’d actually been worrying about it since 7th grade. Wow! The good news is that she will probably have some of her friends going to the same school. My advice to her is to focus on the FIRSTS instead of the LASTS but I know that is easier said than done.
This is a big year for this kid. I personally can’t wait for all that it holds!
