We got lucky! Jack’s session was done in early September. You would think that would ensure great weather but Mother Nature had other plans. As much as I love the warm evening light of a sunny day, a nice cloudy morning is awesome too. It means I can go to all my favorite spots and I don’t have to worry about which way the sun is coming from. It means the light is softened by all of the clouds and it is a very flattering color! The one thing that DOESN’T work, though is rain. It did not start sprinkling on us until the last five minutes of our session. Whew!
I enjoyed hearing about Jack’s plans for next year. He is looking at The University of Denver, University of Colorado and GonzagaUniversity. All GREAT schools! He’s a fan of computer science and all of those school have good programs. Decisions…decisions!
I’ve been so impressed with the seniors I’ve worked with this year. Especially the kids like Jack, who don’t know me at all! They ride around in my car with me for over an hour and they need to chat up a complete stranger. That is a skill that will serve them well later and Jack was great at it! It was a fun morning.
Here are my favorites from this session…
Jack’s older brothers were not able to join us but I did get to take some pictures with him and his parents. And I think his pup Sophie is the most photogenic dog I photographed all summer! She knew just when to sit and look pretty!
