Kristi (#1) is a good friend of my sales manager (and friend too!) Kristi (#2). Yes, it can get confusing here if we all have the same names! Ha! I was so happy to schedule a senior session for Kristi’s (#1) son Luke. She warned me that he might not want to be there…at all…but that he’d do it for his Mom.
You have no idea how often I hear that! BUT…the other thing I hear just as often is that the senior boy, at the end of the session, says ‘Hey…that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!’ I know that doesn’t sound like huge praise but it truly is. These guys were doing something for their moms that they ranked up there with a root canal. To hear that they MIGHT have had some fun, or enjoyed their night is gold! And they haven’t even seen the pictures yet when they say that!
I chose Luther Burbank for Luke because it’s such an easy spot to walk around and have a bunch of different backgrounds. (He REALLY didn’t want to stop 8 different places. How did he know that that is EXACTLY what I do? Ha!) That walk through the park gave me a chance to hear how he wants to be a history teacher and that some of the schools he’s considering are the ones my girls go to. (Go Vikings and Broncos!)
Here are my favorites from Luke’s session…
And a few more of Luke’s family…
