One of the things I love to do with senior sessions is highlight a passion of theirs…if they will let me! When Max’s Mom Kirsten said he’d been restoring a vintage Volkswagen Bug I KNEW we needed to included it. And he was totally up for it! In fact, he worked non-stop for two days before our session to really pull the car together. It’s still got a ways to go but nothing like a photo session to give you a kick in the pants. Ha!
During the his session Max told me that he was pretty excited about some visitors who’d recently come to his autobody shop class. They were representatives from technical schools there to explain their programs. Max said that every day they got better and better and that his favorite program, the one in the lead right now for him for next year, is in Laramie Wyoming. He can learn all sorts of things including regular engines and diesel engines. He has taught himself how to restore his car and he works at a service station right now on cars so it would be the perfect next step for him to follow his passion. I just LOVE hearing about the different paths kids are taking to success!
Here are my favorite images from his session…
And of course we did some without the car too!
And a few with his family too!
