A lot of kids give suggestions for poses while I am photographing them.  Most involve some sort of strength pose (boys) or high fashion pose (girls).  Miss Lizzie’s suggestions had more to do with the coordinating colors around her than what SHE was actually doing.

That got me thinking that she had a pretty good artist’s eye.  Then her Dad, Joe, told me about her photography entry for the school art competition.  Lizzie enjoys macro photography and she was thinking about entering a picture of some flowers for the Diversity themed competition.  That sounded pretty neat, but at the end of our session she changed her mind and wanted to take a picture of a whole bunch of red leaves with one green leaf in the mix.  How cool does THAT sound?!?

I haven’t seen this family for five years.  Oh so long ago I was the facilitator for their new parents group.  So I really have known Miss Lizzie since she was born.  I am so glad I’ve gotten a chance to see what a creative, lovely girl she has grown into!
