I have been taking pictures for more than 21 years and I have gotten to the point where I’ve used MANY locations around the Sound. I do have my favorites though, as all photographers do! One thing I do EVERY time, though, is I show up early and walk or drive my route. Just to make sure everything is as it should be.
Good thing I did for Henry’s session! I’ve used Confluence Park for almost 10 years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen a music festival there. I knew I was in trouble when the street leading up to the park was totally full and families were walking to and from the park with coolers and camp chairs. Sigh! Thank goodness I had cell phone numbers for Henry AND his Mom so we could call an audible on his pictures and his family pictures later! And thank goodness for flexible clients!
It was fun getting to know Henry a bit. He’d like to go to the University of Washington just like his parents did. (If you ask his Mom, though, she’d tell you that she wants him to go where he will most be happy…WHEREVER that is. ❤️).
He’s a lacrosse player and last year they went to state but didn’t win. This year he’s hoping to go all the way! What a magical senior year that would be!
Here are my favorites of Henry…
And of course a few with his family…
