When I first got my new studio the weather was iffy and I photographed quite a few families inside and it was great.  In between raindrops I even got a few quick shots on the block outside.  Since July, though, I have not even stepped foot in my studio because the weather has been spectacular this summer.  All of my family sessions have been done at various parks around the Eastside.  We have to take advantage of such great weather around here!

I was excited, though, when Alaya requested that we use my studio for her senior session.  She really likes urban type pictures and when she heard about my studio in Pioneer Square she knew that is where she wanted to go.  I love this girl and I’ve photographed her a few times so I knew she would be up for trying almost anything.  That really made it easy for me to start exploring my new neighborhood.  I had a beautiful (inside and out I must say!) and willing model, beautiful weather, a new neighborhood.  What more does a creative need?!?
