Just like the cobbler’s kids have no shoes, I never seem to have a camera with me when I am just hanging out with my kids. That’s why, when we went to pick out our Christmas Tree at the farm I had to use my iPhone to document the moment. So if the pictures look contrasty or blown out that is why. I just used my Camera plus app to change them to black and white and called it good.
That picture above cracks me up. It show everybody helping to cut down the tree, but I am especially fond of the sexy coveralls Mr. Fun is wearing. He was helping his Dad cut, shake and bundle trees for sale so we joined him at the farm to add our five trees to the chaos.
This is a shot of the girls trying to decide if this was the perfect tree for our house. It’s a tough decision when there are 8 acres to pick from!
Even though it was 32 degrees Cooper thought it was perfect creek diving weather and the girls had a great time throwing sticks in for him.
Here is a self portrait I was attempting with the girls. Next is Deana’s picture of me taking that picture. Clearly I need longer arms!
On Sunday we are going to go with the regular crew. Our next door neighbors, my sister and her family and this year she is bringing her neighbors. The weather is supposed to be nice so I be bringing my camera (I think) and attempting to capture it all. Stay tuned!
