Last Friday was Kate’s last day of preschool. Mine too! It’s been seven wonderful and long years at the same institution of lower learning. Okay, it’s a little church preschool, but we all learned so much there! At the beginning of the year we got cute pictures with our friend Annie so it only seems fitting that we bookend it with a picture at the end.
There was a cute graduation ceremony on Thursday with a big celebratory picnic at the park afterward. Little man Jack was a gem at the graduation with an occasional wave and a nice ‘Hi’ for Kate who could hear him up on stage. Clearly HE had a good time at the park too!
It was a good time to take a few last pictures of her Loving Lions class all together. These kids have been together for almost 3 years and they’ve made a great team. We will miss them all! (That picture below is of Kate and Willie. He was one of her favorite buddies from this year.)
Finally, I couldn’t resist sharing this last picture. It’s not great, but let me explain what you are seeing. There is this toy that looks like an upside down toilet plunger. The kiddos put their booty inside the cup and centrifugal force swings them round and round. I had a terrible lens on my camera so what I had to do was set it up in sport mode, hold the camera up above Kate and just start shooting. Not bad if you think about it that way!
