I know, I know. I’m only three weeks late. Ugh! It’s crunch time here so I’m sliding personal stuff in when I can get it done.
This year Halloween felt really different. Both Jill and Ellie wanted to hang out with their friends so we were traveling light with just Kate. It was fun for all but strange to see our unit evolving. I guess I better get used to it!
We a rockstar, bumble bee and ‘one of Luna’s kids 19 years later’. I have to say, Jill’s Hogwarts robes were the best investment. She has worn them three different years! The hardest part of Jill’s costume was the wig. Finding one that didn’t drive her up a tree was much harder than it should have been.
Ellie’s costume is an adult medium. She wears a kid size 10-12 normally. Imagine how this cute little costume would look on somebody twice her size. Don’t even get me started on how short and skimpy girl costumes are. Sigh…
Kate’s costume was by far the easiest. She already had the clothes (thank you Nana!) and was tickled pink when I offered to get her the eyelashes and fake hair pieces. She loves that colored hair so much she wore them to school today!
Here are my favorites…
