He loves us NOT! Come on. I couldn’t let Halloween slip by without sharing it with our furry boy! Cooper was dressed up as a cat for 3.7 seconds and then his holiday festivities were done.
The kids, on the other hand, were dressed up for much longer and had way more fun. This year we had Athena, greek goddess of wisdom, an Eagles cheerleader (Eagles being Ellie’s soccer team), and Foo Foo the bunny.
The weather was spectacular on Halloween so the kids had a great time running around the neighborhood with the Dads while the Moms set up camp in the neighbor’s driveway. As is our tradition, all three families set up shop at one house so we could all hand out candy together. We had the fire pit blazing, the candy bowls topped off and even some adult beverages ready to hand out to road weary parents. Here is how some of the neighbor kids looked in their outfits.
The kids got themselves a successful haul and even had their pants scared off at the haunted house down the street. To end the evening a bounce house was inflated and the last of their remaining energy was expended before they fell thankfully into their beds! A good time had by all!
