I have never met Danny before I did his session so I’m really happy that his Mom told me a bit about him as Danny is a bit on the quiet side.
My first questions were all about being a Drum Major. Do they make sure you have rhythm before they give you the job? (Yes!). Is it fun leading the whole band? (Yes, and he gets to do it with his brother!). I forgot to ask about if that big hat is heavy and hard to see out of. Next time!
We then talked about golf. As you can see by his T-shirt he’s a huge golf fan. He’s been playing since he was little and he’s now captain of the golf team for his senior year. He’s really hoping he gets to play golf for the Naval Academy but he’s got some good back up plans too. (Hello Notre Dame…his parents’ alma mater.)
One of the funniest things about his photo shoot was that he really didn’t change his clothes (except for the golf pictures at the end, naturally) but he did change his shoes…THREE times! He’s a shoe guy.
I’m so glad he wanted to have his pictures taken in one of my favorite places…Suncadia. The golf hole we used is the one right behind our house. It was a fun, warm, beautiful night!
Here are my favorites from Danny’s session…
Lucky for me that his family has a condo up in Suncadia so I could photograph everybody!
