Here we are. The end of an era. The end of our parenting journey with kids in the Issaquah School District. 23 years is a long time! And yet I am making this all about me. This is about Kate and HER journey!

We are so proud of this kid and the path she has taken to get here. This kid has always made her own way. She is a deep thinker and a deep feeler and while the pandemic through most of us for a loop it was kind of a good reset for Kate. She had her bestie, did online school through the pandemic and even held down a few different jobs. She knows how to advocate for what she needs and she has figured out how to succeed.

Next year she will be attending Washington State University but this blog post is about taking a look back. I did this with Jill and Ellie and it was so much fun to look back at all those pictures! So sit back and enjoy this trip down memory lane.
