I met a brand new family last week and it was the best way to finish up my fall season! Danielle and Charlie brought their furry friends for a fun photo session. Danielle was hoping for just one perfect photo for a holiday card but I think we got much more than that!

Danielle and Charlie adopted Axel (a lab mix) just three weeks ago and he’d been with a trainer for the past three weeks. That means that he really hadn’t had time to get to know his furry sisters. His age also ensured that his enthusiasm sometimes made his ears turn off. Ha! So we had a lot of factors to deal with for our session.

I can’t tell you how satisfying it was to see the images when they came up on my computer! Not only did we get PLENTY of ‘nice’ images, but since I’m a horrible over shooter I also got a lot of funny ones. I just love that Danielle asked me to include some of those in her gallery too! Life is real and life is funny and sometimes you just have to roll with it.
