Chase is a middle kid. Which generally means he is the Switzerland of family members. He can play all sides and get along with everybody because he’s really easy going. It also means there is potential for him to ‘get it’ from all sides. Julie warned me that brothers being brothers means Chase’s brothers give him all sorts of grief about how he takes awkward pictures. Well if they need to bring in an expert character witness I’m his guy because I saw NO evidence of this at all. In fact, I hardly had to tell him how to stand or sit because he naturally did it just how I would have directed!
Chase is a basketball player and has been playing for YEARS! He isn’t planning on playing in college but it IS a factor in the schools that he is choosing. One of the schools he is really interested in is Gonzaga. Not only because they have a fantastic basketball team year after year and they would be hugely fun to cheer for, but also because they have basketball camps every year and he attended a few. That means he was exposed to the campus long ago and has great memories associated with it. That is such a brilliant strategy on the part of the university. They planted those seeds long ago and now they are sprouting! (The other school he is interested in is Oregon, but this Husky can’t be excited about that. Ha!)
Here are my favorites from Chase’s session…
