I am definitely not known for my patience so it has taken an extreme amount of willpower too hold these pictures back. I took these pictures WAAAAYYY back on November 11th but I took them for a gift for my mom. (Can I just point out that I’ve only given pictures as a gift once? That is so lame!) You would not believe how stealth I have had to be. I used these pictures for the cover of my annual holiday CD and I have them hanging up all over my house. In fact, my parents came over last Thursday for dinner and a choir concert and I had to take two huge pictures off the wall to keep that surprise. (I’m so glad I remembered!)
Since we’ve had our Christmas celebration with them over the weekend I am finally able to share these pictures. I’ve never photographed my own family at the bridge that I use and love for all of my clients so it was high time to go there. We got so lucky on the weather and since I can be super quick we ended up with some great shots. It took a lot of coaxing and convincing and a small amount of trickery to get Henry in the shot and somewhat happy but we did it and I am so pleased with the results.
Here are my favorites…
And I just had to save the best for last. In this shot Henry was done and clearly no amount of goldfish crackers were going to change his mind!
