Merry Christmas to all! I thought I’d share a few pictures from our Santa adventure. Normally we see the big guy in early December and at the crack of dawn. It involves waking up early and a trip to Starbucks afterward. Somehow we flipped everything upside down and saw him in late(ish) December at night. That tradition seems to coincide with everybody else’s traditions if the three hour wait was any indication.
No matter, we worked dinner in, and had plenty of time to poke around and see the decorations and offerings of the season. This is a picture of the girls taking a picture of the big downtown tree. Sure I could have shot the tree too, but I thought this was much funnier!
We also had time to check out Urban Outfitters. They always have funny gag gifts (see below) but it turns out they are mostly adult. Plenty of four letter words on those funny gifts. Oops! The children learned how to spell new words for Christmas!
This year Nordstrom (our favorite/only Santa house) had a new system where you could put your name on a list and they would call your cell phone when it was time to come for your pictures. No more long lines with children freezing and bored out of their skulls. Fabulous!
That last picture is courtesy of Mrs. Clause. Man, that lady is good with all sorts of devices. We watched her use any number of phones and cameras while we were waiting for our turn. Way to go Mrs. C!
