Since I am still lugging my foot around in a boot I’ve had to come up with some new tricks. Ronan and Nora have been coming since they were newborns so they know all my old tricks. In fact, I got a quick text before the session that four year old Ronan wanted NOTHING to do with my tickler, thank you very much. Cute and opinionated. My kind of man!
This photo session was a combination family and birthday session. Kelli brings her kids every year on their birthdays and that is why little Miss Nora is the feature up above. She is turning three but she likes to hold up four fingers when you ask her how old she is.
I like to get fun pictures of siblings together because parents want that for their memories and often have a hard time getting those shots themselves. It’s hard to get a 3 and 4 year old to smile nicely together….at the same time! I was really hoping for a moment in this next shot. I thought for sure if I gave it a second they would look at me with beautiful smiles. (Remember, though, my hands were tied with no tickler!)
Nope. This is what I got instead…
So we did a full retreat and went off to find a log. Sometimes it’s good to put kids up on things that require a bit of balance because it’s harder for them to run and they have to concentrate a bit. BUT…add in a funny Conrad behind me and look what you get!
Here are my other favorites…
