Last Fall, when we heard that Jill’s advisory teacher was having a baby we were over the moon. At the girls’ middle school the kids have the same advisory teacher for all three years. It’s a really neat program where kids from all the grades (6-8) are assigned to an advisory class and they stay together for their time at this school. The theory is that these kids and this teacher can form tighter relationships that can even help them when they move on to high school. Caroline is Jill’s advisory teacher and one of our favorites!
Not only has it been so great to have her watching over our girl through such big middle school changes but we have been privleged to hear about all the changes in Caroline’s life too. In Jill’s 6th grade she got engaged. When Jill was in 7th, Caroline married Alex and in 8th grade she had Baby Elina. Talk about BIG changes! (That picture above is Jill’s favorite.)
And speaking of big, Miss Elina weighed in at a healthy 8 pounds 14 ounces. When I heard that I was over the moon because there is nothing better than a chubby baby. AND I was honored to be picked to photograph her newborn photos. Sigh….I love my job. In between all the picture taking I got to have plenty of snuggle time too. Elina did not cry once. Caroline and Alex said she is a super sleeper and very easy. I hope that stays true because that means they are more likely to make MORE beautiful babies!
Here are my favorites…
And one more for fun. This is how Miss Elina looks after she is done eating. Pretty sure that must be some magic milk!
