Most of you know that I have three girls. I am continually amazed at the difference between boys and girls. Girls can sit and play dolls for hours, boys must run and jump. Girls can quietly hold your hand, boys must jump on your back to give you a sneak attack hug before continuing their running and jumping activities. Girls will sit like a princess for their picture and boys must be convinced to peek around a corner…before they continue running and jumping. Many people say that girls are easier than boys. I hear it all flip flops when they hit their teenage year. That’s 2.5 years for me folks, and I already see that drama coming. Yikes!
Gavin was no different. That’s him above showing a special kind of love for his Mom, Stacey. Stacey wanted to come in for pictures to see if I could capture Gavin’s goofy personality and their funny interactions. I was worried that that might be a tall order, but once he warmed up I got everything I wanted. And more!
Here are my favorites…
One more thing, it doesn’t matter if it’s a boy OR a girl. Some kiddos are very particular about their feet. Mr. Gavin was so upset when we took his socks away that we gave them right back. Not worth dying on that hill! This picture is such a fun way to mark that little phase of his life.
