I keep forgetting to share our family trip to Seabrook. This year, in addition to Joelle and her family, my parents were able to join us for a few days. So fun having all these generations under one roof. (Now if we could just get my brother to come along we would be golden! Come on Tim!)
This summer we stayed in a house that fit us all perfectly. There were plenty of bedrooms, a huge dining room table that we all (13 of us) fit around, an amazing deck out back with a hot tub, and a lovely protected deck on the front of the house to catch some sun and watch all of the people walking down to the beach.
The only hiccup in the whole trip was the weather. We did manage to get some sunnyish times but it was so chilly out that we cleared out the little store of sweatshirts and long sleeve shirts. It was so cold that the one night we did s’mores we did them in the fireplace in the living room. You could literally see the fog rolling through the neighborhood.
No matter, we are hearty northwest folk so we put on our polar fleece, headed to the beach, and biked around the area anyway. (And, thankfully, the pool was indoors!)
Here are some of my favorite pictures…
