On Saturday we drove up to Bellingham to have a picnic lunch with Jill and Colin. Today (the 18th) is her birthday and we needed to take advantage of fairly good weather. (Anything without rain is a win in our book!)

We had a great time catching up and hearing about the senioritis that has set in with these two. They are so close to graduating!

After lunch, by request, Jill took us to one of her favorite bridges/trails in Bellingham. She has been wanting to have her picture taken there for quiet some time but COVID got in the way of our plans. So glad we got a chance this weekend. It’s a beautiful spot! (I have to say, we didn’t let a pesky tree falling on that bridge mere days before our photoshoot stop us either. We can do hard things!)

Allen and I are so proud of the resiliance and motivation this girl has in spades. She is smart and hard working and she will go places! And we are also so thankful that she will have Colin by her side when she does!
