If feels like summer has just melted away. I guess that’s what happens when you are gone for two weeks! How can it be that we are already supposed to be school shopping? Sheesh!
I usually do a night out with the girls but this year I think we are going to have to do afternoons out. Our social calendars are just too full.
Ellie only really needed a pair of jeans and a few shirts so we had plenty of time to poke around the mall, and have a nice leisurely lunch too. (We might be a bit shopped out from our trip.) These are not the jeans we got Ellie but who wouldn’t say yes?!?
Ellie is going into 10th grade this year. She is a math lover, devours books, know exactly how much homework to do to get an A and she is working hard to ‘get a life’. (Those are her words. Ha!)
So with all her experience under her belt I asked her the million dollar questions:
What are you most looking forward to? Ellie is most looking forward not being a freshman.
What are you most worried about? Ellie is most worried about not having a friend at lunch.
We haven’t quite nailed now her first day of school outfit but you can be sure she will wear it with one of her 1o pairs of Converse. That kid is obsessed!
