Yup! You read that right. My kid is 21 today. I can barely type that. It’s probably because I’m so old, right? Let’s not focus on me here…nothing to see. You should probably know this post will be a complete Mom brag. Brace yourself!
This girl (Woman? I can’t go there.) has got it all together. She is doing great in college, she will probably graduate early. She has an on campus job that brings in some money and she talked her way into an internship (where one was not being offered) so she can get some experience at a job she thinks she might like to do as a career. (college counseling) She’s got a great group of friends she hangs out with and an amazing boyfriend we love.
She loves to hike, cook, read, play board games and go to her church group. When she got ‘home’ from the holidays I got a text that filled my heart up.
“I am SO glad to be home. I could feel the excitement as I drove into down town Bellingham and walked into our apartment. I’m happy. :)”
I love having my kids home but there is nothing better than knowing they are happy where they are living and with what they are doing! (Fist bump to Mr. Fun.)
Here are a few pictures I got of this kid when she was home over break. She needed headshots for her Linked In. Cough, cough…how am I here again?
