My girl is 20.  Shall I repeat that for you?  Jill is 20 today!!  I can’t believe it myself.

When I told Jill that it had been way too long since I had photographed her she agreed to a photoshoot but with one small request.  She really wanted to be photographed up in Bellingham.  She loves it up there so much that she wanted to be shot in her happy place!

I can’t tell you how happy it makes ME to know that she loves where she is.  She could have come home this weekend to celebrate her birthday.  It is a three day weekend and some of her friends are coming home and she would have a ride.  She is so happy up there that she didn’t even consider coming back since the term has only just started and wants to stay up there and play.

Obviously I’d love to see my girl but it does my heart good (and may even lead to an occasional fist bump between Mr Fun and I) to see her successfully launched into the next chapter of her life.  I can only hope that it goes so well for Ellie and Kate!
