I almost never chimp. What is chimping you say? It’s defined this way ‘Chimping is a colloquial term used in digital photography to describe the habit of checking every photo on the camera display (LCD) immediately after capture.’ I generally look at the first few pictures and then I don’t look again because I’m too busy having fun and talking with my clients. I try not to stare at screens when I’m with somebody!
Miss Clara pushed me to be different. Not only did she want a totally different location for her senior session, but she wanted a different feel to it too. I had no choice but to chimp as I was shooting and show her what I was capturing. I was amazed at the pictures she was loving the most. Again…that girl kept me guessing! It was so much fun collaborating with her.
I have known and photographed Clara for many years. She is the daughter of Kristi, my amazing sales manager. This session made me really nervous because I know this girl had some specific ideas about what she wanted from her session and I really wanted to please her!
I’m so glad she brought along her friend Katie. Friends usually lead to a better time and better pictures!
Here are the pictures we captured at Trinity Tree Farm. What a beautiful place!
And of course one with her beautiful mama!
