This picture literally brings tears to my eyes. To me it’s a picture of my girl in the middle of a successful launch. She is graduating from college, looking forward to her next adventure, and has her partner at her side. Seriously, as a parent I really just want my kid to be happy. I love her expression here. And I may even love COLIN’S expression more. The way he looks at her makes my heart want to explode!

These two are so brag worthy. Jill is graduating with a double degree in anthropology and psychology. She would ultimately like to become a small college counselor but she knows that she will probably have to do some extra studying for that so she is planning on getting a job first and then figuring out her next step. Part of that next step is following Colin on to HIS next adventure.

Colin wants to get a PhD in engineering. This guy is such a smarty pants that he was in great demand. He applied to 7 different programs but got offers from 8! Yup, over achiever! One school heard about how amazing Colin is and offered him a spot in their program without even getting an application from him. We are THRILLED to announce we have a DAWG in the house. Colin’s #1 choice always was the University of Washington and he got the best offer from them. Yahoo!

That means that Jill and Colin will be moving closer to home and we couldn’t be happier with that. Actually, we couldn’t be happier because they are so happy. End of story!
