Pandemics are hard on everybody. I’ve talked to a lot of my seniors about how their sports have been impacted and what that has done to their college applications. Vanessa is on the leadership team. She is the ASB Vice President at her school. It is MOST definitely a lot harder to lead your fellow students if you are not on campus. She and her fellow leadership team are having to get creative of student involvement and events. This pandemic is teaching all of us flexibility and patience but I think these kids are doing it with a lot more grace than the adults!

It was fun to spend the evening with Vanessa. The clouds rolled in while we were doing our session so I didn’t get to do a silhouette for her but she is a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do so I knew we had to at least try. I think I like this picture even better! I like how strong it makes her look!
