A few weeks ago Jill and Ellie and I were talking about how Jill would be driving soon. Eek! I am not ready for that!
None the less, we all agreed that Jill will be an uber cautions, slow driver. As is her personality. Ellie also speculated that Kate would be a super fast/crazy driver (You all have been warned.) and we all cracked up but concurred. Then Ellie said ‘And Me? I’m going to be AWESOME!’
But her awesomeness does not stop at driving. Last weekend Ellie told me that she wanted to be an interior designer when she grew up. That totally fits. She is very creative and super artsy so I told her she would be good at that. “I know’ she said ‘I would be awesome!’
If any of you know Ellie this may come as a surprise because she is the quietest one of the bunch. She is 12 and we have some college friends that have only heard her talk less than a handful of times. Not that they haven’t seen her way more often, but that she just doesn’t ever talk in the presence. In fact, some folks consider it a victory if they get a few words out of her.
Just because she is quiet, though, doesn’t mean she isn’t confident and I love that about her. Okay, so she still has her little sister place her fast food order or pay for things at Claire’s because the checker might be scary. So the confidence might not have extended quite that far. But if you ask her about herself she will tell you…she is AWESOME!
