Last weekend I drove up to Suncadia to photograph Meri and her family. I was a little dubious about the weather because it was quite cloudy when I left my house in Issaquah. By the time I got to the top of Snoqualmie Pass it was raining. Ugh. But, as I approached the exit for Suncadia the clouds started to clear. And the sun came out. And my worries went from ‘Where do I photograph this family so they don’t get too wet?’ to ‘Where do I photograph this family so they aren’t in direct sunlight?’ It’s amazing that just an hour away from home the weather can be so different!
The last time I photographed this family was more than five years ago. Look at how little Eva and Zach were?!? Not only that, their furry friend has changed quite a bit. Ha! Frank has moved on to heaven but Bradie is their lovely loyal new furry friend.
It was fun photographing this family up at their Suncadia house. They have all sorts of lovely spots right around the house. Here are my favorites…
One more because I can’t resist. I ADORE laughing pictures. I love seeing people have a great time together. This just says happy!
