Last weekend was BEAUTIFUL so the girls convinced my Dad to go out for the first boat ride of the season. We figured we would bring Cooper along for a few giggles. Since he is afraid of his own shadow we thought for sure he would flatten himself on the floor of the boat and stay there for the duration. That sounds quite mean doesn’t it? It’s a good thing we brought him!
We were so wrong! He got his sea legs in the first five minutes and quickly became the new hood ornament. Of course, he had to kick Kate out to claim that coveted spot. (The crazed look on Cooper’s face is from excitement, not fear!)
The weather was so nice that Jill and Kate even swam off the boat. May 31st and the girls were swimming in the lake. Seriously, it takes until August to get the lake warm enough for ME to swim in it. Amazing!
This last picture just cracks me up. I love Cooper’s ears flapping in the wind. What you don’t see in that picture is that his lips are too. Loose lips sink ships!
PS – Posts are going to be a bit light for the next week and a half as we race our way towards the last day of school. With all the activities we have planned between now and then the last day can’t come soon enough!
