Dean and Wanda have been farming trees since 1975. They originally invested in this land so they could farm trees as an investment. They considered it the college saving plan for their kids. 45 years later they have had both of their kids go through college, they have sold thousands of trees, they have used their farm to support and raise money for causes they love and they have cemented holiday traditions and memories for their grandkids and many many other families too!
We have had so many fun adventures on the farm. We’ve brought friends and family every year. We’ve had all sorts of weather. Amazingly it was mostly dry or nice with a few rainy years and even a few snowy years. We had all sorts of pups come with us and we’ve enjoyed the campfire and tailgating and running through the trees for all of the kids.
I’m going to share some of my favorite pictures because I want to make sure they make my book. I’ve broken up these favorites up into two posts but I still highly recommend a snack and a cup of coffee if you are going to make it all the way through!
I tried to put these into some sort of chronological order but I’m old and it’s all kind of fuzzy now. Clearly… A) I really didn’t know how to take pictures and B) I really didn’t LIKE to take pictures at the beginning. So enjoy the picture of me with my eyes closed. It’s all I got from that time! (The first batch is pictures of pictures because I don’t have any digital until 2008)
