Last week we soaked up some vitamin D in Palm Springs. As we do every year, we made our annual Palm Springs playlist. We love having a sound track that reminds us of all the fun we had on our vacation.
We actually enjoy listening to all of the past play lists to see which songs we loved at that time and those songs always bring to mind our fun times. UNFORTUNATELY iTunes ate all those playlists. Poof! We aren’t exactly sure when it happened but in January we noticed some playlists were missing. The songs are still in our library but he playlists are gone.
Not only that, but those playlists were removed, unbeknownst to us, from our devices when we synced them to that computer. D’oh! We were so sad to think that all of those lists were gone. We have them going back as far as 2009. But wait…we have one device that hardly ever gets synced up. One lone iPod that lives in my car and it has all the playlists. (My girls are anal enough that the songs have to be in the correct order because we listened to those CD’s in the rental cars over and over and their brains are programmed to sing the songs in order. That is why the list itself is so important!)
Hooray! Since all the songs are there it is just a matter of recreating those playlists from what we can see on the car iPod. I’m thinking this will be an excellent job for my anal girls!
(And yes, track 9 is a total guilty pleasure but I dare you to listen to it and not sing along!)
