I love photographing kids. I LOVE the challenge of getting them to giggle or smile or get that sparkle in their eye. That is why I typically don’t do any commercial work. It is very hard to get inanimate objects to look happy or give natural expressions.
That’s why, when I was contacted by Booginhead a few years ago I was reluctant to take the job. Then I met with Sari and Tana (CEO and COO) and heard their vision for the pictures and for their company. It could not have been a better fit. Happy, bright, full of energy. Yes please!
It’s been fun to watch this company grow and design innovative new products. And I am always thrilled when I see how they are using my pictures in their advertising. They have a new website that features mostly my images. They have a beautiful book-like brochure that showcases all of their productsl. (That is what most of these pictures are.) They use the images for social media campaigns. They have even blown them up huge for their booth at a Las Vegas trade show!
One of the best parts of our partnership is the collaboration. When we have a photo shoot they bring ideas and I bring ideas and we can shoot them all and see what works best. This has been such a fun ride and the fun will continue this summer with the release of their new Pack ‘Em pouches.
Here is a sample of a few images I’ve captured for them…
And this one is hot off the presses with one of this season’s patterns for their PaciGrip. A big thank you to Pierce’s parents (who are big Booginhead fans) for letting photograph him with their new PaciGrip!
