This year the tree farm visit was bitter sweet. Of course we had our fun. It was a spectacular day. Warm and sunny and happy! But this is the last time we get to make our annual trek with friends and family because, after more than 35 years of tree farming the land has been sold. (Actually only half of it has been sold so if you know of somebody looking for a beautiful 5 acre property in Seabeck let us know!)
We had a great crew of kids that just keep getting older and older. Can they just stop already? We had three pups with us too and they all had such a fun time racing around I don’t think I got any real pictures of them. Just some lucky captures here and there.
It was fun to get pictures of Neil and Karen finally. They are there EVERY year volunteering with the Royal Rangers. This is a service group for kids who help work the farm. We think it is so funny when they come up to the car after we’ve parked and tell us how the farm works and point out Mr. Enebo. Um…thats Grandpa to us!
What a treat to get pictures of us all with the special signs Dean and Wanda use for advertising. (We are hoping we get get half of one of these sandwich boards for future Christmas decorations. So many great memories!) We brought one in from up the road just to get these pictures.
Here are my favorites from our visit…
In the next couple of weeks I am going to pull out my favorite Tree Farm pictures from over the years so stay tuned for that!
