Auction donations are wild cards for me. I am never quite sure if auction winners even know who I am or what my style is before they win their session. Angela and William were the ones who bought this auction item at a gala fundraiser, but I think it was their son Weston who had the most specific ideas about what he wanted for our photo session. I loved it. Weston was nice enough to let his parents and I dictate a few family shots, but it was all him as far as the artsy stuff went.
Get a shot of me doing yoga on a rock. How about a family totem pole with the dog? I’d really like to do some at the playground. I wasn’t so sure about doing 11 year old (Weston) and 14 year old (Matthew) boys at the playground but it was such fun! (I even got a cute shot of Angela on the swing!) As you can see above, Weston is somewhat of a ham and somewhat fearless and that combination made for the cool shot above! (BTW – How do you like that sky for our lovely Labor Day Weekend? Yuck!)
