I’ve done a few newborn sessions lately and since I keep the room at 90 degrees and I’m spending two hours working with those little babes I come out of there a sweaty mess. Just the nature of the beast. That doesn’t normally happen with regular sessions, but it did last week. Not because these little guys were difficult to work with. Not at all! Simply because I was working with a three year old and two nine month olds. Trying to get all three of them looking the same direction was a herculean task. Trying to make them all happy and working together all without a nap is nearly impossible. Shelly, their mom, was completely unflappable. She was calm, cool and collected while I was back to being a sweaty mess. How does she do it? Nine months of practice, I suppose!
I love this next collection of pictures because it shows a fairly typical moment in the life babies. Learning how to share is tough, but it sure helps to have a big brother who cares!
