Last year Megan came with her Aunt Shelly, to help out with her newborn photo session. I remember being impressed with her confidence with this new little baby and also her ease with hanging out with adults. (One of whom she didn’t know.)
I’m so glad Megan remembered me because she came to see me last week for her own photo session. She is a senior in high school and graduating next month. Well, she impressed me again. I love that she was the captain of her school’s volleyball team and she was proud and excited to have her pictures taken in her letterman’s jacket. I love that she was so excited about doing this session, that she went shopping for new outfits AND that she had to save them for this session. I also loved watching the interaction between Megan and her mom Debbie. Clearly you could see how much they enjoyed each other and sharing these experiences. (They get to share a college experience too since Megan is going to her parents’ alma mater.)
Finally I loved how beautiful all of this made Megan look. She was radiant all on her own and I love that she didn’t put on gobs of make up and buckets of jewelry. She is naturally beautiful, inside and out.
Here are my favorites…
Thanks Megan for being willing to try out all sorts of locations: a dumpster, a barn in the middle of a Saturday market, and even a steel pig! Thanks Debbie for being an excellent chauffeur!
