Part of the wedding weekend included a sleepover with Jack and Henry. Joelle and Stephen had tickets to the Phish concert so the boys came to stay with us. I had to admit that I was more than a little nervous. Not only because the last time they were here Henry put a metal lock into one of our outlets (clearly we aren’t childproofed anymore!), but he also learned how to climb out of his crib a week before he was to come stay here. Yikes!
I need not have worried, though. The boys swam so much with our cousins and stayed up a couple of hours past their regular bedtimes. They were so wiped that they hardly made a peep at bedtime. They were even nice enough to sleep in a good hour later than they do at home. Woohoo!
Making things all the easier? Having three built in babysitters to chase the boys around. My three girls tag teaming on those two boys means good odds for Allen and I. To keep the boys from completely destroying the Lego town we made an early morning trip to the park before Joelle and Stephen came home. I loved watching them all play together.
Just for the record…Jack had a black eye when he got here. I did not break my nephew!
