If you are of a certain generation (mine) then when you see the words ‘Movin’ on up’ you automatically start singing the theme song to the Jeffersons.  Am I wrong?  It’s totally stuck in my head now that I’ve mentioned it!

Of course Miss Emily doesn’t sing that song because she is only going into 4th grade.  I really shouldn’t say ‘ONLY’ though.  At her school going into fourth grade is momentous.  It means she is moving up stairs with the 4th-8th graders and she can begin her training to help the Father’s during church services at her catholic school.  This is big stuff!  So big that her mom, Lucille, is taking her out to lunch on the first day of school just to celebrate.

This is another one of my favorite families.  They come to see me every year and I look forward to hearing about their adventures.  This year they came a bit earlier than usual because Lucille has a new schedule to go along with her new job.  Looks like Emily isn’t the only one movin’ on up!  Congrats to all!
