Eighteen.  Eighteen?  How is it that my baby is 18 now?  How is it that I’ve been a Mom for 18 years?  This kid has turned into an amazing human.  (I’m not going to say adult yet because I just can’t go there.) She is always putting others first, is a tireless volunteer, does homework as if it were a hobby and she’s the eternal organizer of friends.  Mr. Fun and I have enjoyed watching her political opinions emerge and mature as well has her relationship with Colin.  Can we call him BBFF (Best BoyFriend Forever)?  I think we shall…especially if it embarrasses her.   We are so excited for her future as a Viking at Western Washington University.  I think I will stop all of this blathering so I can save some of my material for the inevitable Graduation reflection blogpost.

Suffice it to say, we are proud of this girlie and wish her the happiest of birthdays!  (As Colin pointed out to us, it IS her golden birthday!)

And one more of Jill and BBFF.  (Hmmmm…might just be easier to type Colin.)  This isn’t a new picture but one I just love of them and I want it in my blog book!
