I’m sure you don’t recognize him, but that is my nephew Jack. He turned six a couple of weeks ago and we were lucky enough to help out at his Secret Agent party.
Before the party even started we got into the mood by grooving to secret agent tunes…
The agents each got ready by choosing hats, glasses and mustaches and making ID badges.
Then they heard about their mission. The lead agent dialed up headquarters in Palm Springs. (It’s a good thing the message did not self destruct since it was her iPad!) Agent Grampy gave the agents their first clue and sent them off to find the stolen jewels.
There were all sorts of clues sending the boys all over the house. There was a puzzle/decoding clue..
A clue that sent the agents through the laser maze…
There was a clue where the agents had to use special pens to reveal a message in invisible ink. (That didn’t photograph well!) And then the agents headed outside for a clue about a double agent. This agent LOOKED like a friend but was really hiding information the agents needed to complete their mission. Turns out Mr. Fun, who looked so innocent sitting outside, was a double agent. Gasp! In order to get the information out of him, the agents had it squirt him with truth spray. Eek!
The agents had to use special magnifying glasses which sent them to the bomb room. Once all the bombs exploded (the agents had to pop black balloons to get their clue) the agents found the jewels hidden behind door number four. (Ring pops in the cupcakes!)
Well done agents! The jewels were recovered and then promptly eaten. Jack ended the party with the traditional opening of gifts. (One of the kids went with the theme and gave him a Spy Door Alarm. So cool!)
Thanks for inviting us to a fun party Agent Harrison!
