Normally I don’t take pictures of my clients at their houses because I like to know all of the ins and outs my lighting possibilities and backgrounds. That means I go to locations around my house and neighborhood where I have plenty of experience. (i.e. I’ve dragged my kids there under all kinds of lighting conditions.) When Carolyn booked her session I didn’t make any exception to my rule. No matter what it looks like below. Honest! Carolyn has been watching me (from her laundry room) take pictures of my clients in the tall grass for the past couple of summers. Turns out, her house is RIGHT next to the park I always use. How easy is that?
Carolyn booked her family session with me for August because we wanted to be sure that we had good weather for an outdoor session. It turns out our weather was much like a yucky November day. It was chilly and we barely finished before the rain drops started. The silver lining to all those clouds, though, is I didn’t have to worry about which direction the sun was coming from. It wasn’t coming from anywhere!
