On the day of her Non-Party Kate was up at 6 AM. By 6:20 she was already asking for a count down. ‘How much longer until I get to leave with Daddy?’ Four and a half hours kid!
This kid makes her decisions quickly and does all her activities quickly too. She wants to live life to the fullest and she’t got to make sure she can get it all done. Her Non Party wasn’t any different. Lunch with Allen took 23 minutes. She ate every morsel of her meal (Taco Time) and was ready to move on to the toy store. She picked her goodies out quickly. Allen attempted to slow her down by looking down all the aisles but her mind could not be changed. She picked a lovely DS game and then, ugh, a Hello Kitty set with nail polish and lip gloss. Really Daddy? Lip gloss? He is such a softy.
Kate and Allen picked up her friend Chloe an hour early and headed of for a quick (naturally) stop at Blockbuster. When they got home they quickly rolled through a jump in the trampoline next door, a fast game of family, a speedy spa time for nail polish.
Finally an activity that took some time. Allen thought he’d made the scavenger hunt clues easy but the little girls would look so quickly they’d miss the easiest spots. Of course, when they couldn’t find clue nine it wasn’t their fault at all. Apparently Cooper found that one. We found it outside on the deck next to his rubber chicken. Good thing they found it or all those Lil ‘Kinz animals would have been mine, ALL MINE. (Mwa, Mwa, Mwa!)
If I have taught my daughter anything it is that you NEVER rush chocolate. We finished the evening by savoring some yummy brownie sundaes in our jammies with a movie.
I’d say this was a guy thing, but all the girls waited in line for Allen to fill their mouths too.
And like the cherry on top, this now concludes the Enebo Birthday Season.
