I figured that when Tiffany and Kevin brought their two boys for a photo shoot last week that I would be in for a stormy morning. Mixing a two year old with a six week old often leads to tantrums and crying, and that’s just the parents! Little did I know that the weather would be a bigger problem than my subjects’ ages. There was thunder, lightening, fog and rain. Not good for a natural light shooter!
Cody was a great sport about being in some of the pictures but he was much more interested in the toys I have set up downstairs. Baby brother Kai, though, was the star of the show. His disposition was perfectly sunny the whole time I was taking his pictures. Whether he was awake or asleep, he was happy as a clam.
The best part was the end when Cody climbed up on to the the beanbag and snuggled with his baby brother. So sweet!
Here are my favorites…
Because the weather was so bad I converted most of these to black and white. (In photographer speak it was because I had to use such a high ISO.) But I kept this one in color because of his perfect rosebud lips. Sigh…
