Last weekend we went back to the Enebo Tree Farm to let our friends in on the fun. The interesting thing about this year is we went with five families and only two got trees. The other three of us just went for the adventure and fun.
We had fabulous, cold crisp weather. Just right for a massive game of tag among the trees. As usual, there was a search for the perfect tree and then everybody huddled up around the campfire for hot chocolate, lunch and ‘marmashoots’. (That is Lynn’s Grandmother’s term for cooked marshmallows.)
The whole afternoon ended with all the kids rocking out singing along to Christmas songs cranking over the car stereo. It was a perfect way to spend a perfect December day!
